Promulgated by His Majesty Jonas I, the Constitution is the foundation upon which all other laws of the Empire stand.
Title I — The Sovereign
The Empire is a hereditary constitutional monarchy. The Crown descends in the House of Lauwiner according to the order of primogeniture established by the family pact, with no distinction of sex among legitimate heirs.
Title II — Subjects and Citizens
Every subject of the Empire enjoys equality before the law, freedom of conscience, of expression and of assembly, and the protection of the courts. No privilege of birth, save those attached to the Crown, is recognised.
Title III — The Institutions
- The Crown — head of state, executive and supreme command
- The Council — assists the Crown in the making of statutes
- The Courts — independent in the administration of justice
- The Legion — the armed force of the Empire
- The Bank — issuer of currency and treasurer of the realm
Title IV — Amendment
The Constitution may be amended only by the joint act of the Crown and a two-thirds majority of the Council, ratified by acclamation of the Nations People assembled in extraordinary session.
